NASA Aeronautics in your Neighborhood: X-59
In conjunction with testing of the X-59 at the Lockheed Martin Testing Facility in Ft. Worth, TX, a series of STEM Engagement opportunities will be held in the Ft. Worth area over a 3-day period. K-12 students and the community, educators (in-service and pre-service), and post-secondary students will have the opportunity to engage with the Low-Boom Flight Demonstration team in different ways based on your needs and interests.

April 22, 2022 : X-59, Supersonics, Academia, and NASA
This in-person event at UT Arlington primarily focuses on college and university students and educators although all may apply to attend. NASA will provide information sessions on the current status and future plans for the X-59 vehicle. NASA and academic speakers will present on how they contribute to advance aeronautics. There will be opportunities to engage and network with NASA aeronautics experts.
April 23, 2022 : NASA STEM Workforce Development and Post-secondary Student Opportunities
This in-person event at UT Arlington primarily focuses on college, university, and trade/technical students and educators although all may apply to attend. NASA will provide information sessions on the current status and future plans of the X-59 vehicle. There will also be presentations on workforce development and student opportunities. The day will include a student panel and poster session.
April 23, 2022 : Educator Professional Development Session: NASA's X-59 and the Science of Sound
This is an in-person event at UT Arlington for K-12 educators and informal educators. Join NASA education specialists, X-59 subject matter experts, and UT Arlington staff for a day of educator professional development. Hands on workshops in English and in Spanish and more. An optional planetarium show concludes the day. This activity is eligible for you to earn CPE Hours.
