Dale Hopkins

Bio: 

Mr. Hopkins has been employed at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio for nearly 34 years.  During that time he has held positions as a research engineer, project leader, and deputy branch chief.  Since 2006 he has been an Associate Principal Investigator and Technical Lead for Materials and Structures R&D activities in several NASA Aeronautics projects.  In October, Mr. Hopkins was selected for the position of Associate Project Manager in the Transformational Tools and Technologies Project, where he oversees all of the project’s R&D activities conducted at Glenn Research Center.  Mr. Hopkins received Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Akron, and has completed additional graduate studies at the Case Western Reserve University.  Mr. Hopkins has received numerous awards from NASA for individual and team achievements, including the NASA Honor Award Medal for Exceptional Service.
