Daniel Goodrick received his BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah in 2008.  He has worked as an instrumentation engineer at Armstrong Flight Research Center since 2009 and has designed data collection, storage and processing systems for many projects on varied platforms from fighters to commercial transports to business jets.  Dan is passionate about expanding the use of computer vision and machine learning for flight research data collection and analysis with Python, a powerful and open source scientific computing language.
