Dr. Frederick Dynys has been a ceramic engineer at NASA Glenn for 10 years and he has project-related work experience in glass manufacturing, ceramic processing technology and thin film technology. Dynys received his doctorate in material science at Case Western Reserve University and his Master of Science in ceramic science at Pennsylvania State University. His ceramic processing related work includes powder synthesis, shape fabrication and sintering for fabrication of optical, thermoelectric, protonic conducting, nuclear and piezoelectric materials. The domain experts invited for this talk are John Orme at NASA HQ and Ron Coantonio.
