Karthik Duraisamy is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He obtained a doctorate in aerospace engineering and masters in applied mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to his current position, he was at Stanford University (2009-2013). He is the director of the Center for Data-driven Computational Physics at the Univ of Michigan. His research interests are in turbulence modeling and simulations, data-driven and reduced order modeling and numerical methods for PDEs.
