NASA’s vision for Advanced Air Mobility is to develop a safe, accessible, automated, and affordable air transportation system allowing passengers and cargo to travel on-demand in innovative aircraft across town, between neighboring cities, or to other locations typically accessed by car today.

AAM Academy is a virtual classroom series open to 6th – 12th grade students and educators. AAM Academy will be hosted by a NASA Subject Matter Expert and is designed to teach AAM principles with hands-on STEM activities. Event will be streamed onto YouTube and available for classrooms to watch live or recorded.

Quarterly, AAM will choose one classroom as the AAM Academy Classroom of the Quarter. This classroom will have an interactive virtual visit with a NASA Subject Matter Expert to discuss AAM and review the related STEM activity .

 

  • 6th – 12th grade educators can register to be classroom of the quarter. To qualify, registering classroom must confirm that class watched live or recorded AAM Academy event, classroom participated in AAM Academy STEM activity, confirm class is available for Classroom of the Quarter time block, and have ability to use TEAMS platform. A connection test will occur week prior. Qualifying classrooms will be chosen at random.
